Got Inspire on December 17th 2018

My name is Dan and my Inspire implant date is December 17th, 2018. I'm 82 years old and I live in Oro Valley, Arizona. Being on CPAP for 4 years, to now having Inspire, I've been able to travel without worrying over equiptment functionality and carrying around all the accessories that comes with CPAP. With Inspire, I sleep regularly 7.5 hours which never happened with CPAP. I was always trying to catch up on sleep and now I no longer have to deal with that.

Interests: Golf and volunteering in my community

Why I chose Inspire therapy to treat my sleep apnea: Initially convenience, but using Inspire overtime I noticed an improvement in my long term health and sleep quality.

In a few short words, I would describe Inspire therapy as: Healthy measure to improve my well being going into the older years, which I may not have survived if I had not resolved my sleep apnea issue.

Why am I a patient ambassador? I love to volunteer and it is a major activity in my daily life. I want to help individuals learn about better sleep options and improve their quality of life.
