Hello, my name is Carol Gribbin and I received my inspire implant in August of 2022. Inspire has given me freedom! Freedom to get a good night sleep without fighting with a mask or hose. Freedom to go camping and still be able to get a good night sleep. Freedom from lunchtime car naps! Freedom to feel like myself again! I feel like a real human and I have energy not just to get through my day but to thrive in my day!

Why I chose Inspire therapy to treat my sleep apnea: I struggled with my cpap machine for over 12 years. It was a constant fight to stay asleep. My sleep doctor asked if I might be interested in a relatively new therapy called Inspire. The more I learned about it the more excited I got. The potential to get a good nights sleep without a cpap machine was so exciting!

In a few short words, I would describe Inspire therapy as: Inspire is life changing. It has given me the freedom to sleep soundly without fighting with a cpap machine mask and hose. It has given me the freedom to travel without a bulky cpap machine and go camping where there is not electricity to plug in a cpap machine. It has made me feel like an energetic, happy and thriving human being again!

Why am I a patient ambassador? I want to help people make a good decision about their future health. Life is challenging and getting a good night sleep is essential to living a good life. I want to help people understand Inspire and make an educated decision about their own lives.
